And we, his creation, rebelled.  Because of our rebellion, we've brought sin into this world and broken this perfect creation.  Pain, death, heartache-- these are all the result of our rebellion.  But our messed up lives in the present aren't the end.  Sin has eternal implications.  

 

Fortunately, God didn't leave us to our self-imposed destruction.  By taking on flesh and sending his son, Jesus, to die in our place, he made a way for us to receive a restored relationship with Him.  As the Scriptures state, all you have to do is believe in Jesus and be saved.  No gimmicks, no monthly payments.  Just admitting that we're broken people in need of a Savior, and then allowing him to transform us from the inside out.

 

At Heritage, we believe this transformation isn't only a private, internal thing, but that it affects us externally as well.  We believe that God is not only changing our hearts individually, but is using us to bring others into relationship with Him and to transform our community and our world as well.
